Todd McKee (Sights and Sounds)
Todd McKee, a long time fan of the band, became sound technician in early 2006.
Ted (Drums, Vocals)
Exposed to drums briefly while in high school, Ted pursued other avenues of interests. After years of rusting away in a remote rural location, Ted began to play again in 1997. In 2001, Ted called bassist and former bandmate Brian Holt to gauge his interest in forming a new band. Later that year, the two joined with Jason Hill and dON cliftON to form the core of the Pop Rivets.
Brian (Bass, Vocals)
Born in Roanoke, VA, Brian began his musical journey playing trumpet in junior high. He picked up the guitar in high school and began to play in local bands around the area. His love of music led him to Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. After receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Performance in 1999, he returned to Virginia to persue his musical career. Adding electric and upright bass to his repertoire, he found work as a studio session musician, freelance instrumentalist, and private instructor.
Brian has shared stages with such artists as Kenwood Dennard(Blue Note Records), Mick Goodrick(ECM Records), Albert Bouchard(Blue Oyster Cult), and Kelley Gravley(drummer with Victor Wooten), among others. As a member of The Pop Rivets, Brian is a bassist and vocalist. In addition, he continues to teach music privately and work and tour regionally as a studio/session guitarist and bassist.
Jason (Lead Vocals, Guitar)
Born and raised in Hutchinson, Kansas, Jason Hill is a fourth generation musician. Touring America's Breadbasket for several years with brothers Arron and Tim, Jason performed in Sons of Midas, the name a tribute to their father's long time outfit, King Midas.
After a stint in the U.S. Army as a helicopter mechanic, Jason's winds landed him in Colorado performing in the funk trio Monobrau. After relocating to Roanoke, Jason found his role as the soulful voice and sweeping guitar of The Pop Rivets.
